I am Jamie Ahrndt, my husband Jeremy Ahrndt has been fighting a huge battle nobody should ever have to fight. In February of 2023 he was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor. Grade 4 glioblastoma. He has undergone 2 brain surgeries to remove the tumor. He also has went through radiation 2 different times, numerous rounds of different chemotherapies and some trial drugs. Unfortunately his tumor is very aggressive and treatment has not helped. He was forced to go on disability back in November due to losing a lot of strength and energy. Christmas Eve he has taken to er because he had lost all movement of his left side. It has been a huge struggle for him through it all. Our family and friends threw us a benefit and we were able to get a lot of our medical bills paid up and we were able to enjoy a little family adventures together. Unfortunately in the last week we found out that he has a massive pulmonary embolism (blood clot) in his lungs. He also has some in both of his legs. I'm not certain what that means here in the future. After having to be put on disability he lost his life insurance through his job and now that he has an underlying medical condition, nobody wants to provide him another life insurance policy. He is one that absolutely hates to ask for help but I know it has been weighing on his mind a lot lately! Just reaching out for any help possible as I have been missing quite a bit of work to be home with him! I feel embarrassed to ask for help but I want to take some weight off of his chest.
