Hi, my name is Jen, and I’m reaching out with a very humble heart.
Over the past month I’ve had to undergo not just one, but two brain surgeries. This has been one of the hardest experiences of my life—physically, emotionally, and financially. While I’m deeply grateful to my doctors and the support of my family and friends I’ve had through recovery, the truth is that I’ve been unable to work during this time and will be out until September 2nd as I continue to heal and even then it will be part time.
Being out of work for almost two months has put a huge strain on my finances. Everyday expenses—like rent, utilities, groceries, and medical bills—don’t pause when life does. I’m doing everything I can, but the gap is overwhelming, and I can’t get through this without help. This is the last thing I want to do because I don’t like to ask for help but I feel like I am drowning and just getting further behind. I had my first surgery 7/8/25 and my second surgery 8/9/25 but was having lots of issues due to the tumor for a year prior to the surgeries and missed a lot of work.
That’s why I’m turning to my friends, family, and community. If you’re able to donate, any amount—big or small—will make a real difference in helping me stay afloat while I focus on healing and regaining my strength. Even if you can’t give, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me during this difficult season. Your kindness gives me the hope and strength I need to keep moving forward.
With love and gratitude,
Jen Jen
