Please Help My Mom, Jennifer, as She Battles Aggressive Progressive MS ❤️

Hi, my name is Hannah, and I’m reaching out to ask for help for my mom, Jennifer.

My mom has been diagnosed with an aggressive, progressive form of multiple sclerosis. Her neurologist told her that the damage to her arms and legs is permanent, and her condition will continue to worsen without medication and ongoing medical care.

She’s applied for full disability, but the process can take up to 10 months before she’s even assigned an investigator. During that time, she’s unable to work or drive, and she can’t earn more than $1,600 a month over the next 10 months or she’ll lose her eligibility.

Right now, she’s struggling to cover medical bills, medication costs, and a move to Cheyenne ($2882.00) for better access to care. She also needs an electric wheelchair ($688), as her arms can no longer hold the weight required to use a walker for very far. Even with payment plans to medical providers, it’s been too much for her to manage on her own.

My mom has always been strong and independent, but this disease has made things really hard. It’s not easy for her to ask for help but she needs it desperately.
