After having health concerns for some time, Jeff has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Although we commonly hear of prostate cancer being slow-growing and/or of little concern, there is another type of prostate cancer that is of great concern. Jeff’s biopsy showed cancer in all 12 cell samples taken and all are labeled as aggressive in nature (highest range of the Gleason score). It is very important that he start next steps immediately. Jeff will need scans before his treatment can even begin and the initial cost was estimated at over $5,000 for self-pay patients. And this is just the beginning.
Many of you know Jeff (a.k.a. Zumpe) from his many years of living and working in the Conroe & Montgomery area. Jeff has worked as a carpenter and project supervisor for over 20 years for a local custom remodeling and building company, GM Carpentry. Jeff is a 1099 employee and with this being so unexpected, it would be helpful to take some of the financial burden off of Jeff and allow him to focus on getting healthy. Jeff will not be able to enroll in healthcare until November of this year and coverage will not begin until 2026.
Jeff has been attending Lone Star Cowboy Church for many years and thankfully has the reassurance that a mighty God is in control and cares deeply! Your prayers would be very appreciated as well!
And if you are able, please consider donating.
Jeff and all of his family and friends would appreciate it so much!
