Hello All! My name is Lisa True. I am trying to raise funds for my wonderful loving man Jeff Sams. He was just recently (July 2025) diagnosed with malignant metastatic melanoma and has begun radiation treatments for tumors on his brain, and immunotherapy will start shortly thereafter to continue the fight. This came as a complete shock to us, and we are still in disbelief. We're learning more and more with every new test and doctor's appointment. Jeff is a very strong man physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. He will fight this battle and WIN!

We have had an outpouring of love and emotional support from our friends, family, coworkers, and employer management. We can feel the prayers being prayed and the love surrounding us daily.

Jeff is an Honorable Navy Vet & a very hardworking dedicated Aircraft Mechanic. Currently, he is working as much as he can but is taking much-needed time off for treatments and recovery or just to rest from the physical and mental exhaustion of this life-altering diagnosis. We all know that even with the best of medical insurance, the out-of-pocket price is still heavy along with daily/monthly living expenses. Jeff is an amazing father to two young boys, Evan & LJ (10 and 14) that live about 2.5 hours from our home base of Waynesboro, PA, so there is a lot of traveling back and forth weekly to keep their relationship as father and sons thriving. Jeff needs all our help to focus on his treatments and recovery and not to stress over co-pays, household bills, and mounting medical bills.
