Jeanette Ragsdale is one of the toughest and most selfless people I know. We met when we both joined the Holly Lake Fire Department, and from day one, her strength and compassion stood out.

In early October, Jeanette began feeling unwell. After her second visit to the ER, she was diagnosed with acute leukemia. She has already started chemotherapy, and now it’s a waiting game as we watch her numbers closely. Thankfully, her doctors are optimistic — her active lifestyle and overall health give her an excellent chance of recovery, which is truly a blessing.

Jeanette is the kind of person who always gives and never asks for anything in return. But right now, she and her family could use our help. With her husband recently changing jobs and their new insurance not starting until November, the medical expenses are already adding up quickly.

Jeanette is a devoted wife and a loving mother to four beautiful children, surrounded by family and friends who adore her. Any support — whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing her story — would mean the world during this difficult time.
