For over twenty years, I have known Jay Howlett. He has always been one of those friends you can always count on, have a good laugh with, and immediately pick up where you left off. Whether commanding a battalion of re-enactors or grabbing a quick "apprentice lunch" at the vending machine, Jay had the amazing quality to inspire.

Recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer, Jay was set to start chemotherapy treatments last week. Unfortunately, falling ill with a cold has sent him to the hospital, and he is now fighting to get better.
