Hi, I’m Jason Brown, a Life Scout from Troop 872, and I am working on my Eagle Scout Project. For this project, I’m partnering with the Ocean Institute in Dana Point to permanently install an underwater camera system at the adjacent dock. This camera will livestream the marine environment, giving students, visitors, and the community a close-up look at ocean life they might never get to see in person. Presenting everything from the tiniest of crabs to large, graceful octopuses, this area offers a marvellous array of marine life for all to see through the lens of a camera.

Your donation will help cover the cost of the camera, network equipment, mounting hardware, waterproof cabling, and installation materials. Once completed, this project will serve as an educational tool for years to come—bringing the wonders of our local waters to classrooms and curious minds everywhere.
