In September/October 2025, through a medical miracle, Jane was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The miracle is, the cancer was found when she had an endoscopy for a plugged bile duct AND her cancer is stage one!!! You may not know this, but finding pancreatic cancer at stage one is very, very rare. She has a great Western medical team and a local, highly regarded Naturopathic Oncologist who specializes in pancreatic cancers.

Western medicine is treating her very aggressively with chemo through December, recovery, then surgery, and more chemo. This is a rough process and she needs a lot of support. Her chance of beating this is a very high 80%.

Her naturopathic doctor will support her body through the challenges of chemo, the recovery period, and surgery.

What this means from a financial point of view: Jane had to stop working (income lost) and cancer is expensive.

Jane has been lucky enough to qualify for a local program called Ceres, which will provide several healthy meals a week, but this costs.

Jane really needs help with these costs for food, her wig, her naturopath, and in-home support for everything Jane is too sick or weak to take care of.
