Hey I'm Jamie a mother & wife. Let me tell how my family's world got turned & flip upside down. Let's go back to March to what was mine & my husband 15th wedding anniversary. I was very sick with what I believed to be a stomach bug but turned out to be cancer. After over a week of vomiting straight & couldn't keep anything down. I went to the ER. The ER informed me my blood calcium levels are 15 when their supposed to at 8-10 normally. The ER sent by ambulance to the hospital. I stayed 6 long days at HCA capital hospital in Tallahassee. There we found out I have 10x7x8 cm mass on top right kidney. The biopsy for the mass came back to be Renal Cell Carcinoma clear cell type. My doctor at Shands is viewing my case with the tumor board. The hospital & doctor bills are adding up quickly along with traveling expenses going to Shands.
