My name is Allie Sharkey, the sister of Jake Schupbach, who was just in a severe accident a few days ago. He was rushed by ambulance to Monmouth hospital Friday evening, and shortly after, life flighted to St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.

He underwent multiple tests and scans to determine injury. He has a fractured skull, fractured jaw, and a hematoma on his forehead that was stitched.

My brother does not have health insurance and will be in the hospital for at least a few more days.

Our family will do what we can financially to help with the medical cost, but it won't begin to cover the entirety of it.
