****UPDATE****
****Jack has been fixed! His total current bills have added up to $866.88 and he has another appointment on Friday Dec 12th to recheck for feline leukemia and aids to confirm the negative post incubation period, as well as another test to see if he has gotten rid of his lung and round worms. I'm not sure how much that visit will be but I will update with the information when available.

*** UPDATE ***
***I've added the most recent bill and also a quote I have for getting him fixed at his vet. There is cheaper options for getting him fixed I think it's just going to depend on availability of appointments and location (He's a good boy in the car but I don't want to make him travel too far).***

My name is Melissa, and with the help of the community, we managed to resuce everyones favorite crooked-headed cat. We've named him Jack, and as of today, Jack has been vetted and given his shots. As you can imagine, the initial visit was a bit expensive, and he is still in need of a neuter before he can be fully integrated into any home. As of right now we're only working with estimates for that procedure, but I will update with any bills and what they were for. Really, any help with his bills would be greatly appreciated.

Some history on Jack; he is a (probable) 1 year old domestic shorthair that was seemingly abandoned a few months ago. During his vet visit we were told that he may have suffered a bad ear infection that went untreated while he was alone outside, which caused his head to be permanently tilted to one side. This also causes some balance issues for him. It was the general consensus that he wouldn't survive the winter if left to his own devices in the cold. He has tested negative for feline leukemia and aids, and has been given his boosters, and although he is negative, he still needs to be quarantined from other animals for a time (4-6 weeks) to be safe. He already has a follow-up visit scheduled.

Any donations would go towards paying off the current vet bill, along with paying for his neutering (which will happen as soon as possible). There is also a follow-up visit scheduled to confirm his negative tests. As we are looking to have him fostered with someone who could keep him away from other animals, donations would also go towards any necessary food or care items. Furthermore, anything additional would be used for food to donate to those who keep the rest of the stray cats in the area fed and alive throughout the year.
