On Friday, September 19th, I received a call I never expected to hear. My baby brother, Jace Sigelkow, went into cardiac arrest. Our family prayed and prayed. After rounds of CPR, falling into cardiac arrest again, and going through a code, by the grace of God, they got his heart beating again. He has spent weeks in the hospital, a major portion in the ICU.
Jace and our family are no strangers to tragedy. We have been through death and conflict, through thick and thin, he always appealed to reason and was there for us. I always admired the family man that he is. How he does everything he can to make his three girls, his son, and his wife make ends meet. He is their sole provider. He is the light of their lives as they are the light of his life. His family is his world.
Now, the doctors say that he will make a full recovery, but he has a long road ahead. That journey starts with the initiation of therapy and rehabilitation. He needs every opportunity he can get to make a full recovery and be the guiding force for his children again.
We are asking for any little bit of help that you can provide for Jace and the family. We thank you all for your support!
