It is with a broken heart and deep sorrow that we share the devastating news of the unexpected loss of Ivy Asiedu, a 39 year old beloved wife, mother, and friend. On that fateful Monday evening, 12/16/24, while shopping at a grocery store with her three young children, Ivy suddenly collapsed from a heart attack. Her children, left helpless, watched in horror as their mother fought for her life. Despite the intervention of 911 and paramedics, Ivy was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. To make this even more heartbreaking, Ivy’s precious baby boy who she was pregnant with, is now in the ICU at Children’s Hospital, fighting for his life.
Ivy and her husband just got married last year and were looking forward to a promising future with their children. This tragedy has left us all in complete shock. Ivy’s vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten. Ivy was a woman with a beautiful spirit—she was loved by everyone who crossed her path. Her kindness, generosity, and love for others were unmatched. She was the type of person who would organize sleepovers and parties for the kids in her community, always going above and beyond to make others feel special.
Ivy leaves behind three young children who are now without their mother and a baby boy who is still in critical care. Her sudden passing has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
As we try to come to terms with this unimaginable loss, we are reaching out for help to cover funeral expenses, medical bills for the baby, and provide for Ivy’s children during this excruciating time. The road ahead is uncertain, and any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on helping this family begin to heal.
If you are unable to contribute financially, we ask for your prayers and support in any way you can. Please share this campaign with others who may be able to help. Your love and kindness are deeply appreciated as we navigate this unimaginable tragedy.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
