Donate to Inspire Youth Leadership at HOBY

Hello! My name is Allison Salazar and I'm fundraising money for Hugh O'brian Youth Leadership (HOBY.) HOBY is a nonprofit organization that strives to empower young leaders and their involvement in their communities. Since 1958 HOBY has impacted 500,000 students, encouraging them to embrace their leadership qualities and positively impact their communities. HOBY does this through weekend seminars that are held all throughout the US, and for many alumni this is the beginning of more involvement with the organization. I had the honor of attending the California Central 2024 seminar last June as an ambassador. My experience greatly impacted who I am today. After only 4 days, HOBY transformed my confidence as a leader, and left me with some of my favorite memories with the most outstanding people. I knew HOBY was special and I was grateful for the opportunity to expand my comfort zone but I never could've imagined it would become such a special part of my life. This year I will be attending the seminar as a volunteer, and hope to leave that same impact on another great incoming ambassador now that I am apart of the change.
