Donate to Improve Quality of Life with Hearing Aids

Friends, family and community members I'm coming here today as a last resort effort to help my friend raise enough money to buy a pair of hearing aids... HOWEVER, I can't mention her name , but I can tell you that she loves the outdoors, visiting with friends , going for walks , but the struggle is not being able to hear . Not only is that a danger in the community, but it also keeps her from taking important calls , and also affects her speech, she does also have a developmental disability.

Let me back up a couple years .

She has not been able to hear since birth ( now an adult)

We have had hearing tests that show she does not hear , and just had another at St Luke's . The dr there says she definitely needs hearing devices to improve her quality of life in many ways , BUT HERE IS WHERE IT GETS TRICKY .

We have been given many resources, referrals, & reference IDEAS , made many phone calls, but there is no help for hearing if you live outside of Ada or Canyon county... not even one ....

We did find a few programs that offer hearing aids for a way lower cost than what you can get anywhere else..

The problem is that the cost for her would be 750$ ,and she lives on disability which we all know is not much compared to the cost of living..We are not looking for a hand out , but we are looking for a few individuals to please help her achieve her goal of getting enough money to restore her hearing with hearing aids....

Attached is the different information I received from St Luke's so you can personally see the cost .. After doing our research, we decided to go with the 750$ hearing aids do to availability, and preference , and a 4-6 month turn around time...
