Hi, my name is Jenny Jara and this is my beautiful son Max. Max is 9 years old and has had a challenging path in life thus far. He was born with cerebral palsy and has been wheelchair-bound his entire life.

Despite these hardships, Max is a happy and cheerful boy. He brings the utmost joy to my life, and I am truly blessed to be his mother. Recently, Max's condition has led to the development of hip dysplasia, which is an abnormal growth of his bones. This can be a painful condition. The displacement of his hips has caused the bones of his legs to move into a stuck position, making it almost impossible to change his diaper and clean him properly. His doctors have concluded that he needs surgery to alleviate pain and increase his quality of life.

My son is my life, and I am trying to do everything in my power to make his as great as it can be. As we move closer to the date of the surgery, I realize, unfortunately, that I may not be able to cover all of the expenses associated with Max's procedure and condition.

I am a healthcare provider for an elderly woman with dementia, whom I have been with for over a decade, but will soon have to stop working in order to tend to the needs of Max post-surgery.
