Donate to Improve Lenny's Quality of Life
Donation protected
Hi all. My name is Dina Levine. I’m writing to ask any and all that can help donate and give Lenny the quality of life he deserves. Twenty-two years ago, my son’s father Lenny was diagnosed with diabetes. Since then, it’s been a downhill battle.
In 2018 Lenny lost his left leg from Charcot and diabetic complications from this terrible disease. And unfortunately, it didn’t stop there. On October15th 2024 he had to have his right leg amputated due to an infection. The doctors did everything they could, but the leg could not be saved. He spent over a month in the hospital and has now been in Magee Rehabilitation center for the last two weeks.
As you can imagine, now as a double amputee this has been life altering and a huge financial burden seeing Lenny can no longer work. This sudden and devastating change has turned his world upside down. Lenny is now faced with this hard reality that there will be many challenges ahead to live comfortably, independently and safely.
Lenny has a very long road ahead of him. And we ask if you can find it in your heart to donate.
Any donations that can be made would be greatly appreciated and go directly to Lenny to improve his quality of life such as medical equipment, household modifications, home health care and travel to and from his doctor appointments and therapy.
We also ask if you are unable to donate, please keep Lenny in your prayers and share this. Thank you and God bless.
Sincerely,
Dina Levine
