- Hi, my name is Ahmari. I'm 16 years old and was born with cerebral palsy as a result of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. I live at home with my family. I require 24-hour nursing supervision. I am dependent on my mom or nurses to provide care for me. Some of my diagnoses include seizure disorder, osteopenia, and chronic lung disease. As a result, I am in need of a hospital bed which will allow my nurses and mom to provide care for me safely while preventing further injuries to me and my care providers. This will go a long way in improving care tailored towards my overall well-being considering the comorbidities, and also help with longevity for my mom/nurse as they wholeheartedly go through this situation with me. I would really appreciate the compassionate assistance of members of the community, as I go through this journey of faith, hope, and love.
