Family of Ian Moorhead Medical & Funeral Expenses

This fundraiser is in memory of my very close & dear friend Ian Moorhead, who passed away on August 2nd, 2022 at the age of 31. Ian was a kind and passionate geek with a huge heart, and he will be missed terribly.

Ian had been in and out of the hospital constantly for the past several years before his passing, dealing with a long and harrowing battle against a myriad of medical issues. Ian's medical bills are undoubtedly significant, after the amputation of his right leg below the knee, kidney failure, multiple comas, complications from diabetes, dialysis, and more.

On top of losing Ian on her birthday [today, Aug 2nd] his mother - Amy - lost her husband Adam to Myasthenia Gravis in May of 2021. Before the loss of Adam, Amy had quit her job to be his full-time caretaker. Once Ian's condition deteriorated similarly and he was forced to move home from Kalamazoo, MI to Indiana, Amy once again carried the burden of helping Ian's rehabilitation after his amputation and subsequent decline in health.

Ian's family has endured the most hardship of any family that I've ever known. For the second time in as many years, Amy has to bury a loved one and needs as much support as anyone can spare. Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated.
