Burgers Give Back – One Year After Hurricane Helene
One year ago, Hurricane Helene devastated Asheville and communities across Western North Carolina. In the days and weeks that followed, we launched this fund to support our team, our farms, and our neighbors in crisis. Thousands of homes and businesses were left without power, water, and basic necessities. Together, with your help, we rallied.
But recovery doesn’t end when the headlines fade. The needs remain great. Families are still rebuilding, farms are still healing, and communities are still working toward stability.
Farm Burger has been part of Asheville for over a decade, and we remain committed to showing up for this place we call home. That’s why, one year later, we are continuing our Burgers Give Back campaign to raise funds for ongoing relief and rebuilding through BeLoved Asheville — a local grassroots nonprofit that provided food, shelter, and medical aid in Helene’s wake and continues to lead long-term recovery across WNC.
This weekend (Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28), we’re raising support in three ways:
Donations at Checkout: Add a donation at any Farm Burger register.
The Black n’ “Blue Ridge” Burger: Created by our Asheville chefs and available at every Farm Burger location, with $1 from each burger donated.
Direct Contributions: Give through this GoFundMe if you can’t make it in person.
Our anchor statement: Farm Burger is defined by our mission, our farms, our team, and our family. Together, we unite ranchers, farmers, chefs, restaurateurs, and eaters in building a better food community.
Your support helps us live that mission — and helps Asheville continue to rebuild.
Much Love and Ketchup,
