Hey everyone, My name is Miguel Dejesus. This GoFundMe is on behalf of my cousin Angie for her beloved oldest daughter Kayla Barreto. On August 4, 2024, at approximately 6pm, Kayla had an asthma attack which led to a cardiac arrest. Kayla was put under sedation in hopes that she would recover.

A 24-year-old vibrant, full of life young lady. A person who would enter the room and bring such joy that no matter how down you were feeling, she brightened up your day and you would forget why you were down to start. She was an amazing, loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend! Who will be missed more than she will even know.
