It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Gautham Rajanikanth, our beloved 17-year-old son, whose life ended far too soon. Gautham brought light, kindness, and energy into the lives of so many, and this loss has deeply impacted our family, friends, and community.
In the wake of this tragedy, we want to come together to honor Gautham’s memory in a way that reflects compassion and purpose. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we are asking for donations to support causes that are close to Gautham’s heart and ours while making a meaningful difference for others.
Funds raised will be distributed to the following organizations:
- Local fire departments that assisted in the search for Gautham and aid other local search and rescue missions
- Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania-based mental health awareness and support programs, helping individuals navigate difficult times by providing critical resources and interventions
Through this effort, we hope to turn our grief into action supporting those who serve, protecting those who struggle, and honoring Gautham’s life. Thank you for your love, support, and for helping us honor Gautham in a meaningful way.
