Any time life would get tough or I felt like quitting, he was there. Anytime I would have a bad day overseas or would be scared I wouldn’t come back, he would come to mind. Anytime I needed to make a significant change in my life, he was there. There has never been a time he wasn’t there when I needed him to be. I’m sure he never knew because that isn’t something we do in the Johns’ family. We don’t tell each other enough how much we appreciate them. But I will proudly say, he has been my biggest hero and that will never change. I only pray I am able to fill the shoes he expected me to fill. The shoes my girls and son need me to fill. As I sound doubtful that I can fill these shoes, I am positive I will be. I know the man that raised me and I know he will continue to guide me with Jesus Christ. Thank you, Dad, we will not let you down. We love you and you will always be our hero!

The family asks everyone to support by donating monetarily to help pay for the cost. ALL funds will go directly to the funeral cost, and any remainder will go to mom to help her through these tough times.
