Donate to Homer's Heartworm Treatment and Care

Hi, my name is Homer. I am approximately 1.5 years old, and my new mom rescued me from stray life when I showed up at her door starving last week. I had my first vet visit today where I received a diagnosis of heartworm. It's not a heavy infestation, and Mom is not rich, so we are going with the slow cure treatment.

My care will be just under $1,000 total including my yearly vaccines. Neuter, and treatment for Heartworm starts after Jan 1st.

Mom also needs an x-large crate and a bed for me. She is a disabled Coast Guard veteran with Parkinson's on a fixed income and wasn't looking to be a dog owner due to health problems, but I showed up in need of help. I've been posted in local Facebook groups with no luck finding my owners.

Today, I got my rabies and other vaccines, plus Mom got me microchipped.
