Since May of 2022, Hollie has been living with a severe facial pain disorder called trigeminal neuralgia. On a daily basis she has dealt with unrelenting facial pain, electrical shocks to the head and face, intermittent facial swelling and eye drooping, intermittent deafness in her right ear, chronic sinusitis of the right side, hypersensitivity of the entire right side of her body up to the midline, chronic fatigue, and worsening reactions to many foods, chemicals, and medications.

On her journey, she has worked with over 35 specialists (facial pain specialists, dentists, biological dentists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, TMJ specialists, orthotropic specialists, acupuncturists, Lyme literate medical doctors, etc). Despite hundreds of tests, protocols, and imaging of all kinds, they all missed a hidden chronic infection.

A misdiagnosis of cracked two syndrome resulted in her getting a crown and onlay on two teeth on the right side. When these teeth unexpectedly began to die, Hollie was told she needed to decide between two root canals or two extractions.

Saddened by the news, Hollie decided to upload all her imaging to chatGPT to see what it had to say. Without describing her case, she simply asked “What do you notice in this person’s dental images?”

The answer shocked her. GPT found the infection all the doctors and dentists had missed: a clear periapical infection and odontogenic sinusitis.

Hollie currently believes that this hidden infection is at the root of most if not all of her chronic health struggles. Chronic oral infections cause constant immune stimulation. They leak toxins and neurotoxins into the bloodstream, causing ongoing immune activation and often MCAS.

Due to Hollie’s severe allergies to anesthesia, medications, and synthetic materials, she is opting to undergo surgery with a biological dentist. This will greatly increase her chances of removing the entire infection because biological dentists remove the entire periodontal ligament, can perform sinus lifts and grafts with materials Hollie is not allergic to, and can ensure no cavitations will be left behind. This surgery is an out of pocket expense.
