Who Are We?

We are a group of five young men at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who have partnered with Hillcrest Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has supported the Knoxville community for decades. We are inspired by Hillcrest’s work and motivated to help enhance the quality of life for its residents.

Hillcrest Healthcare improves lives through personalized care, fostering dignity, and creating a supportive environment where patients and their families feel valued. Their mission goes beyond medical care to ensure residents live fully, with opportunities for joy, connection, and purpose.

What Do We Need?

We are raising donations to support Hillcrest’s activity programs across its three communities: Beverly Park, Island Home, and West Hills. These funds allow their Activities Directors to create programs that spark laughter, memories, and connections for the residents. Donations make it possible to provide art supplies, music, intergenerational activities, seasonal celebrations, mobility support, and specialized programs tailored to each resident’s abilities. For many residents, these activities are the highlight of the week, bringing joy, engagement, and a sense of community.

How It Helps

Your generosity directly supports programs that keep seniors active, engaged, and connected. Creative supplies enable residents to express themselves through activities such as art, quilting, or tie-dye, while music and entertainment help create memories and bring joy. Holiday celebrations and outings to museums and parks bring amusement and connection, keeping residents active in mind and body. Specialized programs such as adaptive games and horticulture therapy provide meaningful, tailored experiences.
