My name is Tonya. I am one of Deanne Brooks' best friends.

Deanne and Henry Brooks have had a very difficult year and a half. In October of 2023, their son Alex was murdered at just 18 years old, in his senior year of high school. As you can imagine, this has caused severe trauma for them both, causing Deanne to be unemployed. Then, Henry was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September of 2024. Henry went through surgery in November of 2024. Henry was out of work for a couple of months from the surgery. The medical bills are piling up besides the regular monthly bills. Henry has several appointments coming up that are about 100 miles away from their hometown. Henry may also need radiation. They will know this soon.

This family needs financial support and prayers. After spending money on a funeral for their son and projects trying to get justice, and then to get hit with medical bills and supplies, missing work, gas to go to those appointments, groceries, and everything else that is needed to live, they need help.
