With a great deal of self-abasement, I must continue my story after open surgery for bowel cancer. It is not easy for me to beg for funds - money - like this, but believe me, I have no other way out. The authorities are acting incredibly laxly and no one cares at all that I do not have enough funds for a decent life. I have attached my GP's statement. It will be more certain than describing and explaining everything. I will just add that on 13.11. I underwent gastroenterology with the result of removing 8 polyps from the rest of the intestines. Performed through an opening in my abdomen, a stoma opening. The subsequent necessity to spend the night from Saturday 15.11. to Sunday 16.11. in the hospital at SAU, due to unbearable pain - a consequence of the examination. The doctors were on strike at the time, which I only found out about in the hospital. Even so, the remaining staff at the hospital helped me. The perforation of the intestine was not confirmed. I have a parastomal hernia, painful and restrictive. And as a bonus, I am waiting for a biopsy of the removed polyps. But this biopsy really won't change anything. I already have cancer. So if you can and want to, help me survive another period until all institutions agree that I have the right to a decent life, even though I am not a criminal, drug addict, alcoholic, etc. and therefore not entitled to immediate help, I am just a sick person with cancer who is trying to get back on his feet. I sincerely thank you for any help. Thank you very much indeed.

I had an operation a few weeks ago. They removed a cancerous tumour from my body. But they also made arrangements for my colon to heal and that is why I have a stoma bag. I have run out of my own money, I have been out of work for 3 months now. I applied for Universal Credit and after 20 years of working and paying taxes in this country I was awarded an amount that does not even cover the payment of basic bills. Hopefully they will review it and award me more, but until then I am completely out of the game. I do not have enough money for food and other necessary expenses. The Job Centre Plus advised me to go into the city and ask in shops and pubs if they would give me some food. They do not understand that I am on a diet and have limited movement, when I have a stoma bag and 3 weeks after the operation.
So I am asking you, people who want to help, to help.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
Jan
