Please help Zayden defeat cancer.

I come to you seeking help and support for my son, Zayden Sanchez. His journey has been a challenging one, and I feel compelled to share his story with you.

Zayden, a remarkable young man, has faced the hurdles of autism and epilepsy since the tender age of 3. With unwavering determination, we've pursued various therapies – occupational, speech, physical, and behavioral – and witnessed his remarkable progress. Alongside his academic achievements, Zayden has discovered a deep passion for baking and martial arts, even achieving a first-degree black belt.

Yet, at 16 years old, our path took an unexpected turn on the way to Zayden's taekwondo class. He was suddenly struck by pain in his legs, accompanied by dizziness, leading us to rush him to the ER. The devastating diagnosis of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in November 2023 shook our world. Since then, our journey has been challenging – multiple biopsy surgeries, a central port for chemotherapy, the daily struggle with weakness, weight loss, and the loss of his cherished long hair. It's been an immense burden for a young soul to bear.

Despite over two months of intense chemotherapy, Zayden has not achieved remission. Now, we face the prospect of even more demanding treatments, requiring us to commute two hours daily to his hospital for care. As a military family stationed in Florida, far from our Texas roots and without extended family nearby, the journey has been daunting. There's a strong possibility that Zayden may need to relocate to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a stem cell transplant. Yet, we persevere, taking each day as it comes.

I'm reaching out to you because we need assistance to support Zayden through this trying time.
