Help Bray Park State High School’s Year 10 Girls Volleyball Team Compete at the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup!

We’re the Year 10 Girls Volleyball Team from Bray Park State High School, and we’re so excited to share that we’ve earned the opportunity to compete in Division 1 at the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup, the biggest school-based sporting event in the Southern Hemisphere!

Tournament Info:

The AVSC is organised by Volleyball Australia and brings together hundreds of schools from across Australia and even internationally. In 2024, over 500 teams from 160 schools competed in more than 2,300 matches over six days. This year’s event will take place from 7–13 December 2025 on the Gold Coast, Queensland, at world-class venues including the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre in Carrara and the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre.

Last year, we played for our first AVSC tournament in Division 1 and our teamwork and commitment helped us place 4th out of 8 teams that were nominated from across the whole of Australia from Western Australia to Brisbane.

We’re a dedicated high school volleyball team that’s earned the incredible opportunity to compete at the AVSC tournament!

However, due to the significant costs involved with nominations and accommodation, the team is seeking community support to make participation possible.

That’s why we’re reaching out for your help.

Your donation — no matter how big or small — will go directly toward:

• Tournament nomination and entry fees

• Travel to and from the Gold Coast

• Accommodation for the team and staff

• Meals and transport during the competition

Every dollar helps bring us closer to stepping onto that court and proudly representing Bray Park State High School in Division 1. This is a huge milestone for us — Not only help us grow as athletes, and represent our school with pride.
