Hello! I have created this campaign on behalf of my long-time friend Enzo Orso and his beloved cats in Brazil. Brazil is not supported for GFM, which is why I'm stepping in for him as this platform has the widest reach. We are hoping for any help, whether it is sharing this or donating even just £1, which already goes a long way in Brazilian Real currency.

This is his story:

"This is something I wish I could have done sooner, but I tried everything to avoid asking for help so openly like this.

In September of last year, my late cat Felix got hospitalized for a urinary obstruction for the fourth time. We could never find the specific cause for it and I tried multiple solutions to erase any possibility of the cause being stress or boredom.

Unfortunately on that last attempt, Felix had a cardiorespiratory arrest at 8 am on the very last day of September. I rushed to the vets and they revived him, but when I arrived, he was gone. He couldn't make it.

All the vet bills that I was already paying at the time accumulated along with the cremation costs, and by then I was already at R$4.000,00.

Soon after, my other cat and his best friend Jazz suffered the stress of losing his buddy, having an obstruction himself and also getting hospitalized. That was his second obstruction. He made it back alive and well. And I had made an agreement with the clinic to split the total bill into monthly payments while I was working.

I got fired in January of this year. I got immensely ill at the end of December and management "expected more from me". A month later, in February, Jazz had another obstruction. This time they almost did not treat him, but the bill went up to almost R6.000,00.

I told the staff that I would do what I can to gather as much of that money as possible since I signed multiple contracts with them saying I HAVE to pay them, and I do not want to face any legal action or risk having Jazz get ill again and have them deny their medical help because of how much I owe them.

So I'm here asking for your support, whether it is by sharing and/or with contributions towards paying this bill. My absolute nightmare is to have him be sick again and hear the vets say they simply can't offer treatment because of this and have my cat die.

I'm in a pinch right now and desperately looking for a new job so I can cover this and get back on my feet, so I could use the help. Any amount and any retweets, shares and anything of the sort would be greatly appreciated.

Another note by me, Lucius: I've looked up that 6.000,00BRL are roughly 816GBP in pounds - however, there are currency conversion and transfer fees to consider and it would be great to exceed this amount at least by a little to have a preventative medical fund for Jazz just in case Enzo doesn't find a job fast enough.
