Donate to help with Trixia's medical expenses

My niece, Trixia, has been battling Auto-Immune Encephalitis since February 15, 2023. This is a condition where the immune system attacks the brain and causes inflammation. Within a week she has lost her ability to move and speak regularly. It gets worse over time and may lead to a coma or permanent brain injury. As such, time is of the essence.

With the current diagnosis, we are now able to start her treatment. IVIG is a very expensive treatment due to the high cost of manufacturing and administering its treatment. She requires extensive medical care, medicine, and therapy to help her recover and manage her symptoms. Trixia's condition requires ongoing care, medicine, and treatment, which can be very expensive. The cost of this care in the Philippines is Php 600,000, which is equivalent to $10,000 with additional hospital costs. Her medicine alone will cost up to Php 396,000 or $7,200.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help cover the medical expenses of her treatment. 100% of the donations raised will go to Trixia's medical expenses. The funds we raise will be used to cover the cost of Trixia's medical treatment, including medications, hospital visits, and specialist consultations. In addition, the funds will be used to pay for her physical therapy, which is essential to help her regain her strength and mobility.
