Team Travis
Hi my name is Arthur and I am writing today to tell you a little about Travis Drake and his accident.
On March 29th, Travis Drake a dayshift union #242 laborer, came in early to help support a graveyard shift as he has always been there to help everyone in need or to assist in numerous tasks, at his job in a Seattle tunnel project. Travis works on the TBM, a tunnel boring machine. Travis while working In the TBM was pinned and trapped between a steel 30,000 lb muck box and the steel handrail system of the TBM. This horrific incident has left Travis in a wheelchair unable to walk or stand , with his broken pelvic being broke in two places and a broken rib and a lot of pain. Unfortunately Travis will be confined to a wheelchair for a minimum of six weeks while trying to heal and process this devastating incident. Depending on his medical circumstances, his doctors and medical professionals will decide his rehabilitation process thereafter.
Travis has a long road of recovery ahead of him , prayers and well wishes are appreciated .
Donations are being taken to help with existing and future medical bills and rehabilitation while on his road to recovery . Since his job was his only means of income and supporting himself , any love is appreciated.
Love and Respect to all .
