Donate to help with Oscar Nieto's medical expenses

Hello, this is Lia and Michelle, the producers of "Oscar: Homage to the Rebel Maestro of Flamenco." We're so happy you're interested in the production, and in hearing the story of legendary flamenco artist Oscar Nieto's life and experiencing his choreographies and music.

If you're reading this, there is a good chance Oscar has touched your life personally -- he has devoted so much of his own life to sharing his joyful and inclusive approach to art and life through teaching, performance, mentorship, friendship, and basically being an all-around fabulous human being (below you will find a biography of Oscar's many achievements as an artist).

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise money to help cover Oscar's medical expenses related to his Parkinson's Disease. Oscar has been living with Parkinson's for a decade. In spite of his progressing symptoms, Oscar continues to teach and inspire. He is working on a variety of creative projects, including the show we are presenting in November 2025.

That being said, Oscar's medical expenses are significant. He needs many daily medications, physiotherapy, and home care assistance. Oscar is very much in need of support from the community to continue covering these essential expenses.

A donation of any amount is meaningful, and is greatly appreciated by Oscar and by the community that supports him -- a community to which you likely belong!
