Donate to help with Mona's medical treatment

Hi my name is Heather and I'm fundraising to help get medical treatment for our 9 year old rescue bully breed Mona. She has been our emotional support dog and a school therapy dog for over two years but recently has developed some critical medical concerns which we need help covering.
Mona came into our lives in 2021 during lock down when we needed some extra emotional support in our life. She eventually began to come with me to the high school I worked at and quickly became a part of our school counseling team. Her calming and playful presence has been a key part of her time with us. Everyone that meets her believes she might be the "World's Best Dog". She loves playing dress up and going on adventures. She looks young for her years but has started to show signs of her age.
Recently she began to not act like herself and had to go to the ER. After some initial exams they think she has some internal bleeding in her stomach or GI track which could possibly be ulcers or stomach cancer. We do have pet insurance which helps with some of the costs (potentially up to 70%) but at this point the cost of the endoscopy, biopsy and potential long term treatment plan (currently estimated up to $14,500 so far) will likely max out what the insurance will provide and become a struggle for our family.
All funds donated will be used to offset vet bills and medication/treatments she needs to fight whatever is troubling her. We are happy to share information about where that money is going to with any donor who has questions.
If we end up getting more than she needs to keep her healthy we are committed to donating the rest to another fund for bully breed dogs' medical treatment through a local non profit like Bad Rap Rescue.
Feel free to share this out with any other animal lovers you might know or anyone who has benefited from spending time with Mona.
