As of the beginning of 2022, Lisa has been having back pain and has been in and out of chiropractic treatment and physical therapy as it was assumed that her pain was related to scoliosis which she has been dealing with for several years now. Her condition consistently became worse overtime, and her pain became unbearable, so her doctor had ordered an MRI to try to uncover the underlying issue. As a result of the MRI, they found a suspicious mass on her spine. 

As of her November 2021 follow up with her Oncologist, she was in deep remission from the prior breast cancer surgery and treatment she had completed in 2020. Fast forward 6 months later to May 4th, 2022, Lisa was re-diagnosed this time with stage 4 cancer that had made its way to her spine. 

Insurance, although it appears good on paper, is reluctant to cover a large portion of her treatment and we will be paying out of pocket for majority of the treatment. The overall costs are unknown at this point as they will be determined by how Lisa responds to the initial treatments and any subsequent treatments thereafter on an as-needed basis.
