Hello,

My name is Kevin Hunt, and I was diagnosed with throat cancer in January 2022. The

recommended course of treatment was Chemotherapy and Radiation. In addition, through

networking, we were referred to a naturopathic practitioner. With their extensive knowledge

and experience, as well as the deep caring of the team, I immediately began a course of

integrative therapies to nourish me and protect my healthy organs from the ravages of chemo

and radiation. While on a feeding tube and losing 40 lbs. due to malnutrition, I was prescribed

endless anti-nausea medications that left me in pain, constipated, and even more nauseous. In

addition, I developed pneumonia twice, thrush, and a throat ulcer that required multiple

rounds of ant-biotics and another biopsy. All of these medications, with their countless side

effects, left me vulnerable. Healing and detoxification were an uphill battle.

Though I have seen significant healing and positive progress, I still have three small nodules in

my lungs that require the continuation of these therapies in order to fully heal. However, at

$40,000 per month, the treatments are now cost prohibitive. Our insurance only covers about

10 percent. Immuno-therapy has been recommended, but our insurance company rejected it,

as it is only 17 percent effective, at best.

We are now at a point where we have exhausted our life savings. We are asking for donations

so that we can continue with the integrative therapies. The funds will go directly to me and will

be used exclusively for cancer treatments. We truly believe I can fully heal and live cancer free

if we are able to continue this course of treatment.

This has certainly been the most challenging test of my entire life. This request for donations

was not easy for me. I have prided myself on being self-sufficient, successful in my career, and

being well prepared for retirement. As all too many people know, cancer has a way of changing

everything in your life in an instant.
