Donate to help with Jim Quest's funeral expenses

Hello, my name is Valarie Quest and I am Jim Quest's daughter-in-law. It is with sorrow that we announce Jim passed away on Friday, Feb. 10th after bring intubated for a week. He could not breathe on his own due to extreme muscle weakness all over his body, including his diaphram.

Unfortunately Jim had no life insurance and he and Rose just did not have the opportunity to save money for this type of unfortunate occurrence. As many of you know, Rose is disabled and has dementia. They live on their Social Secuirty.

Jim was a light to so many. He gave to his church willingly and happily by his service with the Knights. Going to church, Bible Study, greeting and talking to so many was a huge uplift for him as his health continued to decline. He also greeted students and parents at the school his son James worked at, and we have heard from so many about how he lifted them up and how much he will be missed. Heaven gained another Saint and he will be missed here on earth, but we know he is in a better place.
