" Hi! My name is Sofia, and I'm 13 years old. I like horses and the harp! The first time I put my fingers on a harp string, I was mesmerized with the sound. I fell in love with it and started to learn how to play when I was 5 years old. My love of horses began soon after I watched Spirit, a cartoon series. I loved how smart and caring the horses were to their owners and found myself thinking "I want to be like Lucky! ( The main character that befriended a wild horse)" I also took out tons of books from the library to learn as much as I can about horses. I begged my parents to take riding lessons and when we moved, my time came. I was so excited!

When I'm learning something new sometimes I feel discouraged when things get tough but I've learned over the years that you keep going and never give up, and its okay to take breaks. Thank you mom and dad for encouraging me.

With your support, a few months ago I returned to harp lessons with my new harp teacher! With your continued help, I hope to continue my lesssons, go to music camp and return to what I love to do...horse riding! Things can get a bit expensive and the tiniest donation will help so much! I also really want to go to summer camp this year with my church friends. Thank you to everyone for supporting me! I am so grateful.
