Belinda Martinez spent many years serving her local community, church, and organizations. She continues to stay active with her church, Saint Faustina Catholic Church, always pouring joy in the lives of everyone around her. Despite the unknown of the future, Bel hopes to continue her attendance at her church, never backing down to the opportunity despite the weight of her situation. She spent many years teaching at Cinco Ranch Junior High, always pouring into her students the love of God that has been instilled in her. Bel has, and always will, put the needs of others above her own. In July of 2023, Belinda and her husband Juan Martinez, were in a car accident. Dismissing her back pain as a result of the collision, Bel was encouraged by friends and family to take actions further. Unfortunately, this December, Belinda was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Continuing to stay positive, Belinda has given all glory to God and has felt that her relationship with God is only becoming stronger. Bel would never ask for help, as it is not in her nature to do so. With this, her family has decided to ask her closest friends, family, and community to help with her upcoming medical bills for treatment. Anything is appreciated in this time of unknown. We hope that through this, Belinda will have one less thing to worry about.
