Hi everyone. I am campaigning this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Audrey who had this unfortunate and unexpected situation happen on Monday night. As of now she is needing surgery and needs several weeks, to months to recover. Anything helps with her healing and funds will be for her surgery and while she is out of work.

Welp y'all. It's been a wild week! Monday night I took my contacts out and when I did I guess it cut my eye right in the middle of my cornea. This pain was unlike anything l have ever felt and kept me awake for almost 48 hours.

Wednesday morning I woke up and I couldn't see out of my left eye. When I finally looked in the mirror that day I realized my eye was all grey and red / honestly it looked like a dead fish eye. I've spent the last few days in the ophthalmologist office with a cornea specialist and unfortunately this is going to be a long road to recovery. I won't be able to see out of my left eye for the next several weeks and because of how severe the infection is, whenever it does heal, I will be left with a very large scar on my cornea. And I won't be able to see out of that eye very well because of the scar. (Kinda cool- the scar is shaped like a half moon) I'll know more when it heals and I'm hoping for the best, but I will likely have to get a cornea transplant surgery if I wanna see again.
