Meet Winnie, my beautiful tuxedo girl who has been by my side through all of life's joys and sorrows, my precious best friend. Winnie is incredibly social and gentle, loves people and other cats, and is beloved by everyone who meets her. She brings so much joy to our home.

Recently, Winnie has teeth that are causing her a lot of pain, since she’s struggling to eat her food and enjoy her favorite treats. Her vet advised that four teeth, if not more, need to be removed urgently. Her dental pre-op screening caught a heart condition - left ventricular hypertrophy.

Due to her heart, Winnie cannot safely undergo dental surgery at a standard veterinary clinic. She requires a highly trained dental specialist who can use specialized anesthesia while continuously monitoring her heart function throughout the procedure. This level of care is critical and lifesaving, but it comes at a cost of $4,700, far beyond what I can afford on my own. As a full-time student, I’m in debt from desperately trying to save her brother this summer and still grieving his loss. I can’t lose her too.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering the cost of Winnie’s anesthesia, dental x-rays, surgery, and special heart monitoring protocols she’ll need during the operation. Winnie is my world, as many cats are to their humans. She’s my whole reason for being. I am truly grateful for any and every contribution made to help my baby live.
