Hey everyone. I’m Val and I’m raising money to help my bestie out of a very unfortunate, unexpected and difficult situation. After she was away with her sisters for two weeks, she came back to a mold infested apartment. She found out her rental insurance covers most everything except— mold. Just about everything she owned had to be thrown away. My friend is a retired educator and lives on a meager fixed income and most of her furniture and clothing was from thrifting. She now owns about a carful of salvageable things. I’m asking for money to help her furnish an apartment she is moving into mid October. This woman has next to nothing yet I watched her give a homeless person twenty dollars this week. I’m humbled by who she is and how gracefully she is moving through this extremely difficult time in her elder years. Please considering donating so she can have new furniture and new clothes!
