I hate this. You know I hate this. I'm at my wits' end, though. We need a new dryer. The motor on our super old one died, and we just can't afford a new one. I tried to replace the motor, spending money we didn't have on a replacement one, but I am physically unable to complete the project, and my helper is no longer available.

I am looking for a no-frills bottom-of-the-line dryer that will hold a full load of laundry. The least expensive ones are around $500

I looked at Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc, but we live in a very rural area and have no way to get one home, and nobody is willing to deliver.

The community has already given me far, far more than my share of help, so I understand if this feels icky and you don't feel like supporting it.
