I'm Espen, and I've poured my heart and soul into my musical project, Mzungu Kichaa, for the past 15 years. Recently, I made the significant move back to Denmark after spending 12 important years in Tanzania. I've been working on a new album that reflects the depth of my cultural experiences, blending many different sounds and singing in both english and kiswahili.

Why It's Important:

This album isn't just another musical endeavor for me; it's a culmination of my life's journey. One particular track, inspired by my youthful venture to London, holds a special place in my heart. It speaks of my aspirations, the pulsating energy of the city, and the connections I forged within its vibrant African diaspora community. This song is a celebration of cultural diversity, language, and the universal quest for love and belonging.

I'm eager to bring this song to life through a captivating music video set against the backdrop of London's iconic landscape. However, the costs involved in producing a high-quality video have surpassed my initial estimates. We need to ensure we have the right equipment and expertise to do justice to the vision we have for this project.

The funds raised will primarily cover equipment rental, including professional filming gear, as well as the costs associated with post-production. Our talented cinematographer, Talib Rasmussen, brings a unique blend of Tanzanian and Danish perspectives.
