In Dire Need - Prevent Eviction

Hi y’all,

Here I am again, believe you me I really dislike being in this position and I wouldn’t be here if it hadn’t come down to the wire!?! I’m still waiting for my knee replacement, have already had back surgery and two hips replaced and they’re also recommending a spinal stimulator after my knee replacement.

I had my knee Surg scheduled for March 14th but then I received a call that my insurance had been cancelled the week before!?! So now I’m looking into the marketplace or MAP (if anyone has any recommendations pls PM me)… I’m having to pay full price for Drs appts and Prescriptions in the meantime. I have a mtg with my employer next week to talk about restrictions and possibly working from home.

Rent is coming up by the third and we (Charlie’s still living with me, he’s currently looking for employment) don’t have anywhere near enough. My landlord has already sent one eviction notice when we were late a few months ago.

My family has been more than helpful but I know they’re tired of helping and I’m horrified to still be asking… so here we are. We have other bills due besides rent and I’ve been hitting all the food pantries I can, I understand how people end up homeless at this point.
