Help Our Family Survive in Gaza and Reach Safety and Medical Care

We are a family of nine, struggling to survive in Gaza after losing our home during the war. Today, we are asking for your kindness, compassion, and support to help us reach safety and get the medical care our parents urgently need.

Our family has endured unimaginable hardship during the conflict in Gaza. Like so many other families, we have lost the security of our home and the stability of our lives. Our house was destroyed during the war, leaving us displaced and struggling to find a way forward. The place where we once gathered as a family, shared meals, and dreamed about our future is gone.

Yet, beyond the destruction of our home, our greatest fear is losing our parents.

Our father suffers from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a serious autoimmune disease that requires appropriate medical care and ongoing treatment. He has been advised to travel to Egypt to receive the treatment he needs. Unfortunately, despite waiting and hoping for a way forward, he has not yet been able to travel. We are still waiting for the necessary travel approval, and every passing day brings more uncertainty about his health and our family’s future.

Our mother also suffers from heart problems, adding to our worries and making our situation even more difficult. We are desperately trying to protect the two people who have spent their lives caring for us, sacrificing for us, and doing everything they could to give us a better future.

We are a family of nine: our mother and father, four daughters, and three sons. Three of our daughters are married, while our sons are continuing their education, including secondary school and university studies. Each of us carries our own worries, but we share one hope: to keep our parents safe, obtain the medical care they need, and find a chance to live with dignity again.

Life in Gaza has become unbearably difficult. Essential goods are extremely expensive, and finding enough money for daily necessities has become a constant struggle. Access to medical care is uncertain, and the destruction around us has taken away the sense of safety that every family deserves. We live with fear, uncertainty, and the painful knowledge that our circumstances may become even worse.

We are doing everything we can to survive, but we cannot do this alone.

Why We Need Your Help

We are launching this fundraiser to help our family cover essential living expenses while we remain in Gaza and, most importantly, to prepare for travel to Egypt or another country where we can seek safety and appropriate medical care.

The estimated travel-related cost is approximately $5,000 per person. For a family of nine, the total could reach $45,000, depending on the number of family members who need to travel and the arrangements required. We are trying to raise the funds necessary to make this journey possible, while also meeting our immediate needs for food, medicine, shelter, and other basic necessities.

Our initial fundraising goal is to secure at least $1,000 per month to help us meet our essential needs until we are able to leave Gaza. This amount would provide some relief, although it will not cover all our expenses or the full cost of evacuation and travel. We hope to increase our support as circumstances and costs become clearer.

We know that these are difficult times for people everywhere, and we do not take any act of generosity for granted. Every donation, no matter how small, can help us buy essential supplies, access medical care, and move one step closer to safety.

A Message From Our Family

We never imagined that we would have to ask strangers for help to protect our parents and find a safe place to live. We have always wanted to live ordinary lives, continue our education, care for our parents, and build a future together. Today, we are simply asking for the opportunity to do those things.

Our father needs medical care. Our mother needs care and stability. Our family needs safety, shelter, and hope.

We are not asking for a life of luxury. We are asking for a chance to survive, to receive treatment, and to begin rebuilding the lives that the war has taken from us.
