Hey, I'm Nathan I'm a 20 year old Film Student and aspiring Director currently studying my last year at Sunderland University. Me and a small crew of passionate filmmakers have come together and with your help we would like to birth this beautiful film about the loss, heartbreak and beauty of death and time. Here is an overview on the project and what it means to me:

Without giving the whole plot away, this is a Psychological and Emotional Drama film about an old man who is close to death. He has no family and no friends. The only constant in his life is his house and his routine. All the characters in this film are based on people I know.

However its mainly based on my Mum, and without getting to personal, she was diagnosed with a Terminal illness a few years ago and before the diagnosis she always said she wanted grandchildren. But now unfortunately she will never get to see them and they will never get to meet the greatest lady I've ever known. This inspired the whole story with the incorporation of a twist.

An Old Man burdened by loneliness starts getting spiritual visits from a small Girl. He watches as this figment of his imagination grows up right in front of his eyes. It’s a story about the people we don’t get to see grown up and plays with the supernatural or if you believe in it, the afterlife.

What the funding goes towards:

All the money raised will go towards actors, costume and set design/ props, along with travel expenses for our Cast and Crew. Additional equipment like ND filters etc. Additionally Permits and Location fees, music licensing, along with any additional costs to bring the best outcome. And any left over budget goes towards Festival submission fees.
