Donate to help Travis Romine’s medical bills

Hi, I am Travis Romine’s step mom, and I’ve started this gofundme page, to help him and Lindsay with the rising costs of their medical bills. This is from Lindsay: February was when Travis started noticing a lingering cough and shortness of breath with occasional palpitations in his chest that caused him to be seen in the clinic multiple times and sent home with medications.

The unthinkable happened on March 25th when Travis went to work but could barely get through a meeting when was told to go to the Emergency Room.

He then had multiple days of testing and found to have Congestive Heart Failure and Pulmonary Edema. He has poor heart function with only 1/3 of his heart working, so he is working extra hard to keep up with the demand of his body.

He is now at Abbott Northwestern Heart Hospital seeking further extensive Cardiology treatment. He has been put through multiple tests to determine solutions, however much of that has lead to the process of Travis's heart being too weak and needing to seek out other options (mechanical devices and heart transplant).

Anyone who knows Travis, would have nothing but great things to say about him. He thrives on his passion for fishing, hunting, scouting the woods, snowmobiling, taking trips, swimming with his son, and being at the lake. He loves his family, friend's, and most importantly his 3 year old energetic son Hudson and yellow lab Koda.

He of course is out of work, needs a life vest at all times, and has been faced with long hospital stays and time away from family.

This has definitely put a damper on his way of "normal life". He wants nothing more than to see his family, his wife, his son and enjoy some time building forts, hunting for monsters, camping, and watching movies. ❤️ Lindsay Romine
